Fixing a Connection That Won't Log On

Some users are able to reach the Teltian home page, but find they are unable to log in. The following steps should solve this problem:

Disconnecting Completely

Disconnect your wireless adapter from your computer for a period of three to five minutes. Re-connect your adapter and attempt to log on as normal.

Restarting Your Computer

If you are still unable to log in, try to disconnect again by following the instructions above, then shut your computer down. Restart your computer and try to log in.

Check Your Wireless Configuration

Click on Start, then Settings, then click on Control Panel.

Double-click on the Network icon.

Click on the Properties button. Then click on the Advanced tab on the screen that appears.

Click on ESSID. This must be set to wifi (all lower-case letters). Click on Operating Mode. This must be set to Infrastructure.

Also, make sure that Encryption Level is set to None.

Click OK.

Click OK.

Restart your computer.

Renew Your IP Address

Click on Start, then click on Run.

Type command and click OK.

Type winipcfg, then hit <enter>.
